The 88th National Ploughing Championships will be held in Co Carlow from September 17th to 19th and Dairypower are delighted to once again be showcasing at the event.
At a special launch yesterday, NPA managing director Anna May McHugh said: “The championships not only provides a national stage for showcasing all things agricultural, but also brings together people from all sectors of Irish society, both rural and urban, to enjoy three days immersed in country living.”
There will be millions of euro worth of agricultural and plant machinery on display, including “cutting edge agricultural technology and equipment”, with the opportunity to see these in action in the machinery demonstration area. This year will also see the introduction of a new ‘Agritech’ pavilion which will include interactive demonstrations.
As always there will be top-quality livestock on display with visitors afforded the chance to learn about livestock management, genetics, nutrition and healthcare.
