A Recap of Dairy Tech 2022

Dairy Tech 2022 logo

Dairy-Tech is a yearly agricultural event held in Warwickshire, showcasing groundbreaking technology available to the agricultural industry. Its 2022 event was held on Thursday 7th April, in Stoneleigh Park. The showcase focuses on the progressive dairy industry, and is aimed at all dairy farming fanatics!

Dairy-Tech is an informative platform that allows its attendees to gain great insight into new and exciting industry innovations. It presents a new exhibition that recognises the pressing demands of the modern and existing dairy professional, allowing them to receive maximum exposure to new and exciting industry developments relevant to their business, big or small.

Dairy-Tech first took place in February 2018 and has taken place every year since. The show finally returned to its physical format after a lengthy 18 months of limited interactions for the industry amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dairypower was lucky enough to be one of 298 exhibitors at the show in Stoneleigh Park. We were able to showcase our market-leading slurry management systems including our Smart Slurry Aeration System, Pro-Clean Ratchet Scraper, Eco-Clean Rope Scraper and the Easy-Flo Backing Gate.

We were delighted and beyond excited to exhibit our innovative, and farmer’s favourite slurry technology systems.

And the winner is...

The Dairypower stand had many attractive features such as a video reel, some goodie bags and, more excitingly, a competition to win some snazzy Dairypower merchandise!

Congratulations to our competition winner, Andrew Boyd of Hillowton Farm, Castle Douglas.

A lot of interest was taken in our slurry management systems, with plenty of enquiries being taken for our market-leading Smart Slurry Aeration System and scraper systems. It may have been a dairy exposition taking place, but these enquiries included many types of farming from beef to pigs. The farming structures also varied from existing tanks and buildings to some incredible new builds.

You may be familiar with some of our visitors also, Andrew from Pemberton’s Farm was sure to drop by. It was fantastic to hear all the great things he had to say about our Smart Slurry Aeration System which we previously installed on their farm in September 2021. Andrew described our Smart Slurry Aeration System as their ‘best investment made for Summer 2022’ in their latest farm expansion, as the slurry is in a constant homogeneous, pumpable state, and will reduce their fertiliser costs!

Anybody recognise this guy?

No, not Adrian from Dairypower UK!

But former international rugby union referee Nigel Owens MBE. Nigel has a small farm in Carmarthenshire, Wales and was at Dairy-Tech as a keynote speaker! Adrian managed to grab Nigel for a quick chat before he headed back to the farm to sort out his muck & silage… maybe you need a DP Scraper Ref?

Many seminars and workshops took place throughout the day, making it an informative day for attendees! ‘Ask the Expert’ sessions ran throughout the day, with many well-known speakers presenting. The environment was a big focus in the presentations on the day. We found this very interesting, as one of our main objectives at Dairypower is to help the environment in every way possible. Did you know, that our Smart Slurry Aeration System reduces methane emissions and ammonia concentrations?
