Latest Visit to Our Norwegian Dealers, Fjossystemer!
At the beginning of February, Aeration Manager Rick and Export Sales & Dealer Manager Mick travelled to Northern Europe to visit our Norwegian dealers Fjossystemer! Our collaboration with Fjossystemer dates all the way back to 2002, bringing cutting-edge slurry management systems to Norwegian farmers and their barn systems. Fjossystemer started over 40 years ago, building outstanding barns from start to finish.
Rick and Mick’s first stop was to Fjossystemer Midt Norge, the northern depot of Fjossystemer. Here, they met with the Fjossystemer staff to discuss all things slurry management.
Following the meeting, the team ventured to a local sheep farm to see our Smart Slurry Aeration System in action. The system’s efficiency was evident during the harsh winter conditions, with the farmer attesting to its benefits. Having been through two seasons, the farmer is very happy with the consistency of the slurry as it is always ready to go. By using the Smart Slurry Aeration System, the farmer could spread slurry 365 days a year without removing the sheep from the shed, thanks to the system’s ability to mitigate harmful gases such as methane and hydrogen sulphide.
The next day, they visited a remarkable farm in Ugland equipped with our Smart Slurry Aeration System. This system in particular had an impressive 91 lines. Having endured a full winter season, the system showcased its durability and effectiveness in maintaining optimal conditions within the barn, keeping both the farmer and cows happy!
The team then returned to the office for a meeting with Fjossystemer’s skilled technicians. We would like to thank Fjossystemer for their warm hospitality, and with their support, look forward to continue providing the best slurry management systems to Norwegian farmers.
